Stacy began her career in 1998 after graduating from Bryant University with a degree in Network Engineering. After five years and a lack of fulfillment, she went back to school and fell in love with Mental Health and working with adolescents with disabilities. Graduating with a Masters in Mental Health and School Adjustment Counseling in 2004, Stacy initially began her career working for Riverside Community Care providing therapy for adults with varied mental health needs. Stacy worked with individuals with Bi-polar, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Depression, and Eating Disorders etc. Stacy worked with individuals and helped them find success and live independently.

Stacy began working at Newton South High School as an Adjustment Counselor and recognized how intertwined mental health, disabilities, and academic success were. She completed a second Masters from Salem State in Moderate Disabilities in order to enhance her work. Stacy chose to work in the classroom as a Special Education Teacher specializing in students with emotional disabilities. Working with individuals from this vantage point has allowed her insight into the Special Education process. Stacy is seasoned in evaluating school aged students for academic and emotional disabilities. Stacy spent several years leading IEP meetings, writing, and delivering IEP services.

Currently, Stacy is a full time School Adjustment Counselor in a middle school. Stacy provides clinical treatment to individuals who are struggling with a variety of mental health needs. Stacy wants to empower individuals to find solutions that will move them forward. She provides strength based solution focused therapy. This is a goal directed approach to solving human problems of living. Stacy is also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Stacy is also available to consult on the Special Education Process, IEP help, and/or evaluation interpretation.

Stacy currently accepts Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts and Optum.
